  • Active Leicester have seven leisure centres with swimming pools and gyms, you can also access facilities including a climbing wall; athletics track; golf facilities and several dedicated football pitches. They have a range of services and concessionary prices available to support a child’s journey into physical activity.
  • There are activities that are available at parks and open places in the city
  • Outdoor gyms are available in 30 places across Leicester that are free to use, no matter your experience or ability. The equipment is suitable for anyone over 140cm in height.

If you’re over the age of 65, Active Leicester offer Golden Games, an online toolkit with resources and ideas to increase physical activity. Golden Games combines traditional games with physical activity to encourage participants to move more through simple and fun group or individual activities.
