Visit your local Neighbourhood Mental Health Café

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust works with local Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés to give people quick, friendly support when they’re struggling. These cafés are drop-in centres, so you don’t need to book an appointment, you can just walk in.

If you’re aged 18 or over and finding life hard to cope with, the cafés can work with you to make a simple plan to help you feel safe. They can also connect you with local services and support groups who can give extra help.

Each café offers different ways to get support, so visitors can choose what suits them best. You may want to:

  • Relax in a calm, welcoming space and take part in gentle activities.
  • Have private one-to-one time with a team member to talk through what’s going on and find ways to cope.
  • Get clear, practical advice about other services that could help in the long term.

No matter which option is chosen, the Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés focus on giving everyone the tools and confidence to manage their own wellbeing.
