Healthy Start card

If you are on a low income or are receiving certain benefits the Healthy Start programme provides vouchers to help you get fresh fruit and vegetables and milk.

The pre-paid Healthy Start card paper vouchers have now been replaced with a pre-paid card is topped up once a month with their Healthy Start item allowance.

You can use the card in any shops, markets and food outlets accepting Mastercard.

Anyone applying from now will receive and be able to start using the pre-paid card.
